What we do with
your details.

What we collect

When you call, text, or send the quote form we collect the name, phone number, email address, service address and job details you give us. Nothing on this site asks for payment details.

Our host keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser, pages requested — for security and to see which pages are used. We do not run advertising trackers or sell that data on.

Why we hold it

To quote the job, schedule the visit, do the work, invoice it, and answer you if something needs putting right afterwards. Photographs taken on the job are kept with the job record; if we ever want to use one publicly we ask you first.

We also keep records we are required to keep for tax and insurance purposes.

Who else sees it

Only the people who need it to get the job done: the crew on the visit, and the services we use to run the business (email, scheduling, payment processing, accounting). Each of those sees the minimum needed and is not permitted to use your details for their own marketing.

We will disclose information if the law requires it. Otherwise, no.

How long we keep it

Quote requests that do not turn into work are deleted within twelve months. Job records are kept for as long as tax, warranty and insurance rules require, then deleted.

Text messages

If you give us a phone number on a form, or you text the number on this site, you are agreeing that we may text you back about that job. It is the quickest way to send a morning window, tell you the van is running late, or send a photograph from the visit.

Those messages cover scheduling and the work itself, and nothing else. We do not send offers, campaigns or marketing texts unless you have separately told us you want them, and there is no list you are added to by booking.

How many messages you get depends on the job — a single dryer vent visit is usually two or three, a job that needs a return visit is more. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your plan and your carrier.

Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you; we will call instead if we still need to reach you about a booked job. Reply HELP and you will get our phone number and email back. Texting works with the same number we call from: (443) 810-0608.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or profiling cookies. Its own two keep the quote forms working and expire two hours after the last page you open; our host's security check can add one more, deleted when you close the browser. We also use Google Analytics 4 to count visits, and it stores two cookies: one holds a random number that tells a return visit from a first one, the other which visit this is. They do not identify you personally and are not used for advertising. Google sets them to last two years; some browsers keep them for less — Chrome for 400 days — and clearing your cookies removes them.

Analytics records which pages are opened and for how long, roughly where in the country the visit came from, and which device and browser were used. It also records these actions — scrolling to the end of a page; tapping a phone number, and where on the page it was; opening the quote form; starting a form, and which box you started in; sending a form, and which one; and following a link to another site, such as a map, and where it led. It is not given your name, your number or anything you type into a form, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep. Say so by phone or email and we will confirm when it is done.

To stop hearing from us, reply "stop" to a text or say so on the phone. There is no marketing list to unsubscribe from.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us what we hold about you and we will send you a copy. You can ask us to correct anything that is wrong — a misspelled name, an old address, the wrong number on a job record. You can ask us to delete what we hold, and we will, apart from the records tax, warranty and insurance rules require us to keep, and we will tell you plainly what those are.

Email contact@callductcleaning.com and say which of the three you want. We will reply within thirty days, usually the same week, and confirm in writing when it is done. There is no charge for any of it.
