FAQ
Asked before
booking.
These are the questions we actually get on the phone, answered the way we answer them there.
If yours is not here, call and ask. We confirm the final price before the work begins.
Booking
Before we come
Do I need to be home?
We recommend that an adult be present at the beginning of the appointment so we can confirm the scope, pricing, and access before starting.
Do you move furniture?
We can move small, reasonable items when needed. Large furniture, heavy items, mounted objects, and fragile items should be moved by the customer before the appointment.
Will it make a mess?
We use protective floor coverings, protect the work area, and clean up around it after service.
Do you provide exterior cleaning prices online?
Exterior cleaning is quoted by estimate because pricing depends on size, surface type, buildup level, access, and cleaning method.
Scope
What we clean, and what we do not
Do you repair HVAC systems?
No. We provide air duct cleaning only. We do not repair, install, modify, or service HVAC equipment.
Do you repair chimneys?
No. We provide chimney sweeping and cleaning only. We do not perform masonry repair, liner replacement, cap installation, or gas fireplace repair.
Do you do mold remediation?
No. We are a cleaning-focused company. We do not perform mold remediation, HVAC repair, chimney repair, masonry work, duct installation, electrical work, or gas work. If we see something that appears to require another trade, we will explain it clearly and recommend the proper professional.
Do you provide before-and-after photos?
Yes, when accessible and practical. We try to document visible buildup and cleaning results whenever possible.

Pricing
What it costs
Why is there a starting price rather than one price?
Because homes differ. Air duct cleaning starts at $349 for one HVAC system with up to 10 supply vents and 2 return vents. Additional vents are $25 each, and an additional system starts at $225. Final pricing depends on vent count, dryer vent length, chimney condition, access, and job difficulty.
Do you charge hidden fees?
No. We confirm the final price before work begins. If the actual condition or access changes the scope, we explain the difference and receive approval first.
Can dryer vent cleaning be added to an air duct visit?
Yes. Added to an air duct cleaning visit, dryer vent cleaning starts at $99. On its own, a standard accessible run starts at $149. We confirm the final price before the work begins.
Maintenance
How often, and why
How often should air ducts be cleaned?
Air duct cleaning is generally an as-needed service. Consider cleaning after major renovation, pest activity, substantial visible dust/debris, or when the maintenance history is unknown. We do not recommend cleaning solely because a fixed number of years has passed.
Do you guarantee air duct cleaning will fix allergies?
No. We do not make medical claims. Air duct cleaning can remove visible buildup from accessible ductwork, but indoor air quality can be affected by many sources inside and outside the home.
How often should dryer vents be cleaned?
An annual dryer-vent cleaning/check is a practical safety schedule for most homes. Homes with frequent laundry use, long runs, roof exits, pets, or slower drying may need service sooner.
What are signs of a clogged dryer vent?
Common signs include longer drying times, a hotter dryer or laundry room, lint around the exterior termination, or an exterior vent flap that does not open properly.
How often should a chimney be checked?
Chimneys, fireplaces, and vents should be inspected at least annually and cleaned when necessary. We provide sweeping and cleaning; certified inspection services are outside our standard cleaning scope unless specifically stated.
